Episode 005 - Brewing an Extract Batch - Part Two

Part Two of this video series shows the steps after adding the malt extract to your brewpot. First, we bring it to a boil, then we boil the bittering hops for an hour. Next, if there are any finishing hops, we add them at the end of the boil. Finally, the brewpot is put into an icebath in order to cool it down as fast as possible. The quicker you cool your wort, the clearer it will be, as well as increasing its shelf life. The kit being brewed in this video series can be found at Homebrewers.com
